Thank you so much for an amazing year! I adore all of my kiddos, and hope you have a great summer. See you next year as big 3rd graders! :)
The time has come for the last week of school. It seems like it has gone by way too fast. I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to teach each and every one of your children this year. Thank you for trusting me with them, and believing in me as your child's teacher. Also, I could not have asked for better parent support this year. You are all amazing, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for making the year so great.
With that, I am returning your children to you, the same ones that you entrusted in my care last fall. I am returning them a little taller, a little heavier, a little wiser, a little more responsible, and a little more mature. It has been my privilege to watch their little personalities grow each day, and to see how they have developed so greatly in their learning. We have laughed, played, studied, researched, and enriched our minds over the past year. They have learned so much, and you should be so very proud of them! I know I sure am! :) Please remember, that I will always care for your children, even as they graduate high school, and go on to bigger things in life. I hope you all have a wonderful summer! Please tell your children to keep in touch, and always come back to say hello.
With much love,
Mrs. Coon :)

I can not believe that today is the last Friday of the school year. I know I have said it before, but I really feel like this year has just flown by! I feel like we still have so much to learn also, but on a brighter note, we have learned lots! :)
Hi. My name is Mrs. Coon, and I grew up in Southern California. I moved to Cedar City in 2000, and I love it here! I have been teaching for 15 years, 13 of which were in St. George teaching 4th grade. This is my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade in Iron County. I am so thrilled to be teaching at Fiddlers Canyon Elementary. It is a wonderful school, with even more wonderful students and parents! :)
